Junior Squad 

19:00 - 20:00 : Tuesdays, and/or

​19:00 - 20:00 : Fridays 

  • Become a Super Swimmer!  Get really good at all four ways of swimming (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly) by making our technique smooth and using our bodies well.

  • Learn to Race Like a Pro!  Master cool racing moves like diving in fast, turning quickly at the wall, and finishing strong, just like in a real race.

  • Swim for Longer and Stronger!  Build up our energy so we can swim for longer without getting too tired.

  • Love the Water and Be Safe!  Feel really comfortable and confident in the pool and always know how to be safe in the water.

  • Swimming is Fun!  Enjoy our practices, make friends, and learn to work together as a team.

  • Give Racing a Go!  Try out some fun swimming competitions in our club and maybe even against other clubs, and try to beat our own best times!

Development Squad

  • Finding Our Best Strokes!  Explore which swimming strokes we might be really good at while still being strong in all of them.

  • Clever Racing Plans!  Learn even smarter ways to race, like changing our speed during a race to outsmart our competitors.

  • Getting Really Fit and Fast!  Train harder so we can swim for longer and at a much faster speed.

  • Perfecting Our Racing Skills!  Make our starts, turns, and finishes super-fast and smooth, even when we're feeling the pressure in a race.

  • Being Dedicated Swimmers!  Really commit to our training, come to practices regularly, and take care of our bodies so we can improve.

  • Aiming for Big Competitions!  Work towards swimming in bigger competitions and try to achieve qualifying times to get there.

  • Amazing Swimming Technique!  Make our swimming even more efficient and powerful, finding what we're really good at in each stroke.

  • Smart Racing!  Start learning how to plan our races, like how fast to go at the beginning and when to push harder.

  • More Energy and Speed!  Get fitter and faster so we can swim longer distances and at a quicker pace.

  • Super Starts, Turns, and Finishes!  Get even better at our racing skills so we can save time and get ahead.

  • Setting Our Own Goals!  Start thinking about what we want to achieve in swimming and working towards those goals.

  • More Races and Better Times!  Swim in more competitions and try to improve our personal best times each time we race.

  • Awesome Racing Every Time!  Swim races that are technically perfect and use our smart plans to get the best results.

  • Being Mentally Strong!  Learn how to stay focused, positive, and strong even when things get tough in training and racing.

  • Swimming at Big Events!  Compete at county, regional, and maybe even national competitions, always trying to get better and better!
